As The Wattrus Group has developed, Andy has also been at the forefront of launching a manufacturing and installation service for interior designers, architects & developers seeking to create inspirational and practical interiors.
A family man, sports enthusiast, avid traveller and still, yes still, a keen skier. His inspiration comes from the ability to succeed and provide colleagues with the opportunity to do the same.

Gayle Wattrus
Soft Furnishings Director
Gayle is responsible for leading our acclaimed portfolio of soft furnishing products and services to extensive growth. A creative problem solver and natural leader – Gayle is known to wear many hats from operations, projects, and personnel management. Gayle works closely with teams on efficiency, productivity, and service delivery.
“We are not a team because we work together. We are a team because we respect, trust, and care for each other”
Before joining Wattrus in 2017, Gayle spent 25 years working in education. After receiving a Degree and Post Graduate Certificate in Education at Liverpool University, she has since taught in several schools across the Midlands. Gayle has a real passion for making a difference for young people and so commits monthly to voluntary work within the judiciary system.
Although both Gayle and Andy work together – they very much enjoy spending family time over the weekend. After parent taxi duties, Gayle is often out walking our favourite four-legged friend ‘Buster’. She thoroughly enjoys a good vacation from skiing to beach lounging and finds adventure when exploring new cities.

David Burdon

Matthew is an AAT Qualified Accountant, with a strong record of excellent financial control and robust financial planning, to provide the confidence and lay the foundation that the next business decision is the right decision, whether that be capital investment or new revenue streams and product lines.

Away from work, Matthew is the proud father of two girls (Holly & Megan) and an avid golfer. One of Matthew’s most memorable moments in life was driving the full length of the Great Ocean Road in Australia from Adelaide to Melbourne, in 2013.

Paul Cox
Director of Flooring
Paul develops existing and new client relationships and strategic opportunities to help clients achieve their project goals and reduce risks, costs, and carbon footprint – his knowledge of the wide range of flooring products available on the market, combined with a real desire to provide a quality service to clients has seen the business thrive.

Outside of work Gary has a grown-up family and enjoys fell walking and once a year still puts on his ski boots, but not quite a Franz Klammer these days as the knees aren’t quite what they used to be.
